Ultrasound Disintegration of Feedstock in Biogas Plants
Jühnde Biogas Plant, Germany
Jühnde was founded in 2005 as the first bio-energy village in Germany. Biogas plant in Jühnde has been producing 716 kW of electrical energy. Biogas is produced from a mixture of feedstocks such as maize, crops and manure.
After installation of Weber Entec ultrasound disintegration units, Jühnde plant achieved 15% higher biogas production compared to production with no disintegration.
Our ultrasound disintegration units also enhanced the operation conditions by improving flow properties and decreasing power consumption of digester mixers.
